After initiating the November 2024 update for the multiple flagship devices, including the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S23 devices in the US, it is limited to the locked units now, with the latest development, it has been expanded to unlocked units.

Unlocked Galaxy S24 gets November 2024 security patch

Samsung is rolling out the November 2024 security patch update for the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra devices with the firmware version numbers S921U1UES4AXJA, S926U1UES4AXJA, and S928U1UES4AXJA, respectively.

The update is dedicated to enhancing the overall security of the devices. Along with this, the changelog also mentions the changes that arrived for the auto blocker. More specifically, it says that after the update, if users set the auto-blocker to the maximum restriction, then it will make the USB device connection disabled while it is still capable of running the charging.

If you are using the Galaxy S24 unlock device in the US, then you should start getting a new password. To check the update, you just need to go to the software update menu from the system settings.

Samsung has introduced the Galaxy S24 series devices earlier this year. The devices came with Android 14-based One UI 6.1 preinstalled. Now the device is waiting to get the first major update, which will be available as One UI 7. It is expected that the company will provide the first beta update to the device in the next few days.
