Samsung to introduce new variant of Galaxy A55
The Korean giant ‘Samsung’ is now looking forward to introducing a new smartphone, the Galaxy Quantum 5. It is supposed to debut later this year.
The company has been expanding its Galaxy Quantum series for the last four years, which includes quite secure mid-range Galaxy smartphones. Now it is time to introduce a new phone named the Galaxy Quantum 5.
The upcoming Galaxy Quantum 5 will be a refined variant of the Galaxy A55 model with enhanced security features. If the report is to be believed, the company will debut this phone in South Korea in the third quarter of this year.
The upcoming Galaxy Quantum 5 will feature a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED Infinity O display. It will be powered by the Exynos 1480 chipset and run Android 14 out of the box. The memory package will include 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The camera setup will feature a 32 MP front camera for an enhanced selfie experience.
The battery capacity will be 5,000 mAh. The report says this upcoming variant received radio certification on May 8 this year and is expected to be launched in August or September. The company is focused on enhancing security with the Quantum Random Number Generator (QRNG) chip.
The key aim behind attaching this chip is that it uses light to create highly random data for encryption keys, making it virtually impossible to crack. It will be beneficial for sensitive applications, for instance, banking and payments.

Samsung Health monitor support end from December 23
Samsung has officially notified that it will discontinue the software support for the Samsung Health Monitor from December 23. According to the information, the Samsung health monitor new version 1.4.1 will support Android OS 9.0; support for 10.0 and 11.0 will be discontinued.
However, it doesn’t mean that the older version users will not get the functionality of the app. But it will be limited to ending the software support for the app for the respective Android version.
So Samsung has recommended its users update their phones to the latest version before the deadline to enjoy the services without any interruptions.
Samsung Health monitor features
