Samsung has rolled out the October 2024 security patch to almost all eligible devices, but as you know, the company has a wide range of devices, so it is still not completed the list of devices, so moving forward to wrap up the latest security patch, it is now serving the update to Galaxy S20, Galaxy A23 and Galaxy A15 devices.

October update for Verizon-locked Galaxy S20, Galaxy A23 and Galaxy A15

Verizon-locked Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra are getting new updates with the firmware version numbers G981USQSBHXJ3, G986USQSBHXJ3, and G988USQSBHXJ3, respectively.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy A23 and Galaxy A15 are getting new updates with the firmware versions A236VSQS6DXJ3 and A156USQS4BXJ2, respectively. The update will soon be available on more carriers.

Yesterday, Samsung released the November 2024 security patch for the Galaxy Tab S10 series devices in Europe, but it was limited to the 5G variants. Now, with the latest development, it is available for the Wi-Fi variants.

Along with this, the update will also bring new enhancements for the auto blocker. As per the changelog, USB devices will not be allowed to connect to this device after the update except when charging.
