Samsung has released the One UI 6.1.1 update for the 2022 models of Galaxy devices more widely. This includes the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Flip 4, Tab S8, and Galaxy S22. Now with the latest development, the Galaxy S22 is starting to get a new update in the US for more carries.

Earlier, the Galaxy S22 grabbed the September 2024 security patch for the Verizon locked units. Now the device is getting more wild on several carriers, including T-Mobile, MetroPCS, and Dish Wireless.

Users who own the Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra can identify the latest update by the firmware version numbers S901USQU6EXH8, S906USQU6EXH8, and S908USQU6EXH8, respectively. It is worth noticing that the update has also brought a September 2024 patch to make the device more secure.
