Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 to bring new health sensor to result in improved accuracy
Samsung to launch its Galaxy Watch 7 smartwatch at the Galaxy Unpacked event in Paris on July 10. Right before the official launch, the brand revealed its BioActive sensor to emphasize its long-standing focus on digital health innovation.
The key focus of the giant is to simplify well-being by offering detailed statistics and metrics through their devices. This focus centers around the BioActive Sensor, which plays a key role in offering users a more effective health and wellness experience.
The giant has acknowledged that it’s the crucial time to boost the advancement to enhance the user experience and has unveiled a new version of its BioActive Sensor, which will debut on its Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra.
The aim behind designing this new sensor is to offer better and even more precise health experiences through three important changes: improving the performance of the photodiodes that receive the light, adding LED colors, and their better arrangement on the sensor.
The brand assures that the new BioActive Sensor can guarantee significant upgrades in the accuracy of measuring some health parameters, for instance, heart rate, sleep quality, blood pressure, blood oxygen levels, and stress levels.
The latest health sensor can also measure heart rate during intensive workouts, which is 30% more accurate than its predecessor. The upcoming Galaxy smartwatches will support the AGE index to provide metabolic health and biological aging metrics.

Samsung Health monitor support end from December 23
Samsung has officially notified that it will discontinue the software support for the Samsung Health Monitor from December 23. According to the information, the Samsung health monitor new version 1.4.1 will support Android OS 9.0; support for 10.0 and 11.0 will be discontinued.
However, it doesn’t mean that the older version users will not get the functionality of the app. But it will be limited to ending the software support for the app for the respective Android version.
So Samsung has recommended its users update their phones to the latest version before the deadline to enjoy the services without any interruptions.
Samsung Health monitor features
There are many new features that will provide several new changes for the devices; let’s explore them more. Basically works along with the integration of the ECG function that lies within the Health Monitor app that allows users to receive notifications of their atrial fibrillation (Afib) or sinus rhythm while also calculating the heart rate rhythms.

According to information shared by the local network carrier Telus, Galaxy Watch 6 series users will get the One UI 6 stable update on their device on November 12. The update is expected to be available for Canada.
Following the Galaxy Watch 6 series, the update will soon expand to more devices in the coming days. If the date prediction comes true, then we are expected to get a stable update for the other devices in the next couple of weeks.
