Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra & Watch 7 Suffer Battery Drain Problem

Samsung recently debuted its brand new smart wearable watches, the Galaxy Watch Ultra and the Galaxy Watch 7. But unfortunately, within a month, the company started facing backlash over the poor battery performance of both newly launched watches.
Samsung’s Galaxy Watch Ultra and Watch 7 Hit by Battery Drain Disaster
A huge range of Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra users are reporting that they are facing massive battery consumption in the latest Galaxy smartwatches. However, battery consumption is not the latest issue, since it has been in controversy for a couple of days.
The giant also debuted the latest generation of Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro at the Galaxy Unpacked last month. Unfortunately, several reports also reported quality concerns about the newly launched buds. All of these reports doubt Samsung’s product reliability.
Regarding the battery, a user shared his experience that once after charging the watch up to 100% and turning off Bluetooth, the battery was at 25% after just 7 hours of sleep tracking.
However, Samsung acknowledged this issue, and recently it released the first software update for the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra. But the software update goes wrong, as after upgrading the watch with the latest software update, things get worse instead of fixing bugs and known issues. Apart from this, some users reported new problems post-update, including device overheating and reduced battery life on models previously unaffected.
At the launch, the brand claimed the healthy and long-lasting battery performance of both the latest watches, but customers were not satisfied with the battery performance. The brand assured up to 30 hours of battery life with AOD activated and up to 40 hours with AOD disabled. But in reality, users are only experiencing 12 hours of battery life. It remains to be seen what the brand will actually do to fix the issue.
