Galaxy Z Flip 6 is the first Samsung flip phone to support Expert RAW
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 is officially on the floor and has packed this latest foldable with dozens of new features, including Galaxy AI, excellent specifications, and more. One of the noteworthy tools the brand has offered is Expert RAW support.
The Korean giant has expanded the compatibility of its flip phones, as the latest Galaxy Z Flip 6 supports Expert RAW.
Samsung launched the sixth generation of a flip phone, the Galaxy Z Flip 6, and until this phone, all the Galaxy Z Flip series phones lacked this Expert Raw feature.
Expert RAW is a camera app that permits you to take and edit uncompressed, unprocessed photos in RAW format. But this feature is only available for specific Samsung Galaxy smartphones. Finally, the brand extended this app’s support to its newly launched Galaxy Z Flip 6.
The Korean giant enhanced the functionality to enhance the user’s capturing experience as it optimized the noise level in DNG files, a format preferred by professional photographers for its premium-quality image data. You can easily adjust noise levels more intelligently; the Galaxy Z Flip 6 offers more details and clarity.
Another notable ability of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is the integration of AI technology to enhance both JPG and DNG images automatically.
However, the giant has yet to announce support for Expert Raw on older Galaxy Z Flip smartphones. It will remain to be seen whether the brand will extend the support of Expert Raw to older Galaxy Flip phones, at least including the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 4.
