Samsung has rolled out the September 2024 patch for both locked and unlocked variants of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5. Users who own the locked devices can identify the latest update by the firmware version numbers F946USQS4DXI3 and F731USQS4DXI3, respectively.
Meanwhile, the unlocked units of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 are getting a new update with the firmware version numbers F946U1UES4DXI3 and F731U1UES4DXI3, respectively.
There are more than 60 patches arriving to enhance the overall security of the devices, and Google has introduced 46 patches to eradicate the working of several new changes, which will allow users to make the work of new changes to make sure that it will enhance the Android OS.
Along with that, there are 23 more patches added by Samsung to address the issues of the Galaxy devices related to the Galaxy devices to make them more secure against the working of new devices. Apart from the security enhancement, the update may also bring some new changes to make the device more consistent in terms of performance.
