Samsung debuted its sixth-generation foldable devices, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. The brand has packed both devices with more advanced features, including Galaxy AI, classy design, and improvements. The giant promised to offer seven years of software support.

Now the brand is expanding this new seven-year software policy to support its latest Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. This means that both the newly launched foldable devices will get seven major Android OS updates and seven years of security patches.
The brand has launched the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 on the Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 update out of the box. According to the policy of seven major software updates, both devices will receive the OS updates up to Android 21 if this Android OS software update series continues with the same number series.
Future Android updates will help to upgrade the device up to date and offer more convenient and advanced features as needed to enhance the user experience. The security patches will fix the bugs and known issues for smooth performance and will improve security to enhance users’ secure experiences.

Samsung Health monitor support end from December 23
Samsung has officially notified that it will discontinue the software support for the Samsung Health Monitor from December 23. According to the information, the Samsung health monitor new version 1.4.1 will support Android OS 9.0; support for 10.0 and 11.0 will be discontinued.
However, it doesn’t mean that the older version users will not get the functionality of the app. But it will be limited to ending the software support for the app for the respective Android version.
So Samsung has recommended its users update their phones to the latest version before the deadline to enjoy the services without any interruptions.
Samsung Health monitor features
