Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim Might Become the First Foldable Phone with Titanium Frame
Samsung debuted its sixth-generation foldable devices, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. Now the brand is looking forward to bringing the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim, which could be its first titanium foldable phone.
Samsung is setting up to debut the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim variant. The new report suggests that the company could use titanium for the backplate of the rumored Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim variant. The Galaxy S24 Ultra is the first Galaxy device made with titanium material.
If the report comes true, then the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim variant will be the first foldable phone to be designed with titanium material. If the report is to be believed, Samsung’s parts suppliers say the company is gearing up for the final decision on whether to use stainless steel or titanium for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim’s backplate. If it goes for titanium, then this would be the first time the tech giant has used titanium for the backplate on any of its foldables.
Traditionally, Samsung has used stainless steel or carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) for the backplates of its foldables. Particularly, it chose stainless steel up to Fold 2, then jump to CFRP with Fold 3 and onward. The aim behind this switch has to do with the addition of S Pen recognition, which first appeared on Fold 3.
Reportedly, the upcoming slim variant does not have an S Pen. As such, it’s expected that by the end of this year, Samsung could launch the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim. Noticeably, Samsung could only release the slim variant in China and maybe in South Korea.

Samsung Health monitor support end from December 23
Samsung has officially notified that it will discontinue the software support for the Samsung Health Monitor from December 23. According to the information, the Samsung health monitor new version 1.4.1 will support Android OS 9.0; support for 10.0 and 11.0 will be discontinued.
However, it doesn’t mean that the older version users will not get the functionality of the app. But it will be limited to ending the software support for the app for the respective Android version.
So Samsung has recommended its users update their phones to the latest version before the deadline to enjoy the services without any interruptions.
Samsung Health monitor features
