Samsung Galaxy devices have already started getting the latest August 2024 security update in several eligible regions; meanwhile, this is the first time the Galaxy Z Fold4/Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip4/Galaxy Z Flip3 models started receiving the update in the US, soon after the distribution of the update on the Verizon network. 

The carrier-locked and Unlocked Galaxy Z Fold4, and Z Flip4 have begun getting the August 2024 security update and the update also available for Carrier Locked Galaxy Z Fold3 and Flip3 models in the USA.

This software update for the carrier-locked (T-Mobile, MetroPCS, Comcast) Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 and Z Flip4 carries F936USQS6FXGJ and F721USQS6FXGJ build numbers, while on the flip side, the carrier-unlocked Galaxy Z Fold4 and Flip4 holds F936U1UES6FXGJ and F721U1UES6FXGJ version numbers.

The update for the carrier-locked (T-Mobile, MetroPCS, Comcast, Dish Wireless, and Spectrum Mobile) Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 carries the F926USQS7IXG6 version, while on the other side, the Galaxy Z Flip3 comes with the F711USQS8IXG6 build number. 

Meanwhile, the August 2024 security update for these Galaxy Z series models brings several improvements to the device’s security, which in turn helps users have a more safe and secure UI experience.

Yesterday, Samsung released the November 2024 security patch for the Galaxy Tab S10 series devices in Europe, but it was limited to the 5G variants. Now, with the latest development, it is available for the Wi-Fi variants.

Samsung has rolled out the November 2024 patch for the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra devices with the firmware version number X820XXS2AXJ7 and X920XXS2AXJ7, respectively. The latest update has brought new improvements to the auto blocker with security enhancements.

Along with this, the update will also bring new enhancements for the auto blocker. As per the changelog, USB devices will not be allowed to connect to this device after the update except when charging.
