Samsung now releases the July 2024 security update to the Galaxy Z Fold5, Flip5, Fold4 and Flip4 in Canada

Now that Samsung has already pushed the latest July 2024 security update to plenty of its devices, the brand has started rolling out this update to its Galaxy Z foldables, including the Galaxy Z Fold5, Flip5, as well as the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Flip4 in Canada. 

This latest July 2024 security update is now available for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 and Flip5 while also carrying the F946WVLS4CXG2 and F731WVLS4CXG2 versions, respectively. 

On the flip side, the brand has also started rolling out this fresh security patch to the older Z foldables, the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Flip 4, that come with the build numbers listed below:

  • Galaxy Z Fold4: F936WVLS6FXG2 
  • Galaxy Z Flip4: F721WVLS6FXG2

Meanwhile, Samsung has been releasing the latest July 2024 security patch to its foldables, the Galaxy Z Fold5, Flip5, and Fold4, as well as Flip4, currently in the Canada region, expecting the update to be released in the other eligible regions soon.

Yesterday, Samsung released the November 2024 security patch for the Galaxy Tab S10 series devices in Europe, but it was limited to the 5G variants. Now, with the latest development, it is available for the Wi-Fi variants.

Samsung has rolled out the November 2024 patch for the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra devices with the firmware version number X820XXS2AXJ7 and X920XXS2AXJ7, respectively. The latest update has brought new improvements to the auto blocker with security enhancements.

Auto blocker gets improved

Along with this, the update will also bring new enhancements for the auto blocker. As per the changelog, USB devices will not be allowed to connect to this device after the update except when charging.
