October 2024 patch: What’s new
The October 2024 update is a general security patch that is specifically designed to bring security-related changes for the devices. According to the official documentation, there are more than 40 patches implemented through this update, where Google has included 30 patches to fix the Android OS-related issues.
Meanwhile, Samsung has also fixed 12 more vulnerability patches for the devices; it has also mentioned that it has patched different applications, including Sound Assistant, Samsung Internet, and Samsung Video Player.
