Samsung One UI 6.1.1 Auto Blocker Restricts Sideloading Apps by default on Galaxy Devices
Samsung just refreshed its Galaxy Z foldables series by adding another new and advanced model to the lineup, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6. Although the devices have arrived with several impressive features, the most incredible factor is the infusion of the One UI 6.1.1 version, which significantly introduces more security-related features for the Galaxy devices.
This certainly means that Samsung’s One UI 6.1.1 will now allow newer Samsung Galaxy devices to block sideloading of applications by default.
Samsung brought up the latest Galaxy Z foldables, the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6, which have been pre-installed with the new One UI iteration, the One UI 6.1.1, which will aim to provide more security to the users.
However, a fresh report by Android Authority reveals that Samsung Galaxy smartphones released with the new One UI 6.1.1 version include the Auto Blocker option, which will remain enabled by default. This option will automatically block the sideloading of the apps from certain unauthorized sources.
Meanwhile, the Auto Blocker feature arrived with the One UI 6.0 build, but it was located in the form of a toggle that could be turned on or off when required. In contrast, with the newest One UI 6.1.1 version, the newer Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6, will not be able to turn off the Auto Blocker option, as it will come on by default.
