Samsung introduced the Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 on the newly launched Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. This latest software version lets you stream apps to a Windows PC.

Now the Korean giant is setting up to release the One UI 6.1.1 update to more eligible Galaxy devices. A report reported that linking phones to a Windows PC to stream apps is more seamless in One UI 6.1.1.

Samsung’s One UI 6.1.1 Makes Streaming to Windows PC Smoother

Microsoft offers a free “Link to Windows” app that reaches across Android smartphones and Windows PCs, allowing users to flawlessly interact between the two operating systems. After setting up, users can easily use their PC to manage text messages, make calls, or control media playback, among other options.

Noticeably, few particular brands deal with Microsoft to offer additional features. Samsung and Honor are the two Android brands that offer extended functionality in Link to Windows: Honor and Samsung. These exclusive features let you drag and drop content between devices and stream applications from your smartphones.

With the new One UI 6.1.1 version, the giant enabled a feature that makes linking the Galaxy with a Windows computer to stream apps more flawless. If the report is to be believed, if Galaxy devices running One UI 6.1.1 once accept permission for the first time, then they will no longer need to accept permission every single time when they start an app stream on a Windows PC.

It is expected that by the end of August, the brand could start rolling out the One UI 6.1.1 update to more devices. Currently, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 are the only devices running One UI 6.1.1.
