Nowadays, as communication is getting easier and more seamless, spammers and fraudsters are also taking advantage of it to get easy reach for users. However, to get rid of spam, Truecaller comes as a solution that provides several features to prevent spamming.

Truecaller is now available on Galaxy watches

Earlier, Truecaller only provided its services to smartphones and tablets. Still, with the latest development, the application is about to bring the same features for the Wear OS-equipped smartwatches. This means the app will be available for Galaxy watches as well.

As far as the tool’s features are concerned, the application is dedicated to providing several services for blocking and filtering spam calls and SMS.

Truecaller has officially announced the availability of the service and app on WearOS, which indicates that from now on, it will be possible to control and manage incoming calls, as well as identify and view information about the caller, directly from the smartwatch.

To fully utilize the caller ID feature on the Wear OS smartwatch, you still need to set Truecaller as the default calling app. To do so, simply go to the settings in the section dedicated to default apps.

Regarding availability, the application requires at least OS 3.0, which means it will be available on every Galaxy watch, starting from Galaxy Watch 4 onwards. Users can download it from the Google Play Store.
