Samsung is on full roll in developing its next One UI version, the One UI 7.0 build, which will be backed up with Android 15. We have been hearing several leaks and rumors regarding the latest One UI 7 version for a long time, suggesting that Samsung is continuously working on its One UI 7.0 version.

As One UI 7.0 is inching closer to entering its beta channel, this latest Samsung software version has been the trendiest topic everywhere across the internet.

These leaked reports regarding the One UI 7.0 version significantly indicate that the Korean brand is expected to bring tremendous new features and changes to the upcoming One UI 7.0 build, as the leaks and rumors are continuously indicating that the latest build will be highly inspired by Apple’s iOS 18.

One UI 7.0 leaked features are as follows:

  • Dynamic Island and Live Activities

Inspired by Apple’s Dynamic Island as well as Live Activities, Samsung could feature Dynamic Island and Live Activities with the One UI 7.0 version. The brand could integrate the Live Activities with Dynamic Island, allowing users to have all the relevant information at a glance via Dynamic Island.

  • Quick settings

Quick Settings will take a revamp, as the settings tiles will have a more rounded design with the ability to change the position of each tile but not the size, of course. The Quick Settings page will take up two pages, with the Quick Settings on one page and the notifications on the next.

  • A cleaner look for the home screen

As per leaks, Samsung will bring two new options for the app icons and labels for the home screen to offer a cleaner look to the users. The two options include Classic and Bold, where the Classic one will show the app and the widget labels, while the Bold option is for bigger app icons but without labels.

  • One hand-friendly camera UI and a new camera icon

Samsung will be introducing a major revamp within its Galaxy device’s camera UI, changing the UI completely to provide a more comfortable user experience so that the users could handle all the camera-related operations all one-handedly. In addition, a new camera icon has surfaced online, suggesting that Samsung is expected to change its iconic camera app icon too.

  • AR emoji replaced by Galaxy Avatar

Another noticeable change is the replacement of the AR Emoji with the Galaxy Avatar. The AR Emoji will now be termed the Galaxy Avatar, offering users a more fun and interactive experience.

  • Battery percentage indicator

Now with the One UI 7.0 version, Samsung is going to add the battery percentage inside the battery icon, which will be turned on by default and will allow users to have their device’s battery insights straight from the battery icon.

  • Vertical App Drawer

Samsung is expected to bring the highly-awaited vertical app drawer to its Galaxy devices with the One UI 7.0 build. With this addition, the search bar inside the app drawer has moved to the bottom, under the app icons. This will allow users to scroll in a vertical manner instead of a horizontal one.

  • New Gallery app icon

Samsung will be introducing an all-new Gallery icon design, which significantly looks like a colorful flower with seven different shades. Interestingly, like every other feature and change listed above, the new Gallery app icon is also inspired by Apple’s iPhone’s Gallery app icon.

  • Changed Weather app icon

Samsung could also change the Weather app icon with the One UI 7.0 version, offering users a better software design. With One UI 7, Samsung will revamp the Weather app icon by reducing the gradient of blue color in the background of the icon, as compared to the app icon in One UI 6.
