Samsung has already entered an adventure park by introducing its most robust and feature-loaded yet, the Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra, as well as the Galaxy Ring. Meanwhile, the brand has offered a new update to the Nearby Device Scanning service to further enhance the Nearby Device Scanning support for its newest Galaxy Watches and Galaxy Ring. 

As spotted on APK Mirror, the brand is delivering a new update to the Nearby Device Scanning, which is a platform service that offers an easy and seamless connection among Galaxy accessories, smartphones, and tablets. 

Meanwhile, this newest update for the Nearby Device Scanning service carries several performance stability improvements along with certain relevant bug fixes that significantly offer a stable and smoother performance experience to the users when connecting their Galaxy accessories. 

In addition, the update further adds compatibility for the newly-arrived Galaxy Ring, Galaxy Watch 7, and Watch Ultra. Samsung Health monitor support end from December 23

Samsung has officially notified that it will discontinue the software support for the Samsung Health Monitor from December 23. According to the information, the Samsung health monitor new version 1.4.1 will support Android OS 9.0; support for 10.0 and 11.0 will be discontinued.

However, it doesn’t mean that the older version users will not get the functionality of the app. But it will be limited to ending the software support for the app for the respective Android version.

So Samsung has recommended its users update their phones to the latest version before the deadline to enjoy the services without any interruptions.

Samsung Health monitor features

There are many new features that will provide several new changes for the devices; let’s explore them more. Basically works along with the integration of the ECG function that lies within the Health Monitor app that allows users to receive notifications of their atrial fibrillation (Afib) or sinus rhythm while also calculating the heart rate rhythms. 

As the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic are Wear OS-based Galaxy smartwatches, it’s also expected that all the newer smartwatches launched after the Galaxy Watch 4 will probably get the new irregular heart rhythm notification feature soon in future updates.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim will follow Ultra camera specs

Samsung has already jumped into the slim phones segment with the Galaxy Z Fold SE, which is released in limited regions, including China and South Korea. According to several rumors, the company is planning to introduce the Slim variant of the Galaxy S25 next year.

Galaxy S25 Slim will also adopt a 200MP camera

Similarly, like the Galaxy Z Fold SE was introduced with the 200MP camera, the Galaxy S25 Slim is also reportedly going to be equipped with the same camera that will also be available in the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

According to the report, a new module number SM-S937U was spotted in the IMEI date labels. It is further said to be the Galaxy S25 slime, which is expected to arrive with higher specifications.

Additionally, a popular Ice Universe claimed that the Galaxy S25 Slim exists and has an “Ultra” camera. However, this may cause confusion among users if the full setup will be exactly the same as the Galaxy S25 Ultra or if it is talking about just the primary camera.

It goes with the similar Galaxy Z Fold SE camera setup, so it may bring a 12 MP ultra wide camera and a 10 MP telephoto camera. Meanwhile, for the selfie camera, it may introduce a 12 MP front camera.
