Samsung and Google Collaborate to develop new XR Headset

Samsung and Google, avoiding the rivalry between each other, are coming to one table to work together. The giants are looking forward to bringing a new boost to the Android ecosystem by unveiling a new device category in 2024. The new report revealed new details.
If the new report from ‘Business Insider’ is to be believed, then Samsung, Google, and Qualcomm are teaming up to create a new virtual reality headset. Currently, the device, codenamed “Moohan,” is supposed to be released in March 2025.
Under the hood, Google has budgeted itself for the developers of its own Android-based AR software. The Korean brand is the first and, so far, probably the only buyer, and other partners still need to be convinced. The project with the Korean firm ‘Samsung’ has already been beneficially delayed and will probably be released a year later than originally planned.
It is expected that a developer version of the Google and Samsung XR headsets will be released in the last quarter of this year. By 2025, more detailed information regarding features and capabilities will come into existence. It seems that this new collaboration with Samsung could deter other partners. However, a noticeable problem appears with Wear OS, as new versions are still offered exclusively on Samsung Galaxy Watch models.
On the other side, Apple recently introduced its Vision Pro internationally, but with a price tag of several thousand euros, the glasses are not quite attractive.

Galaxy S25 Slim will also adopt a 200MP camera
Similarly, like the Galaxy Z Fold SE was introduced with the 200MP camera, the Galaxy S25 Slim is also reportedly going to be equipped with the same camera that will also be available in the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
According to the report, a new module number SM-S937U was spotted in the IMEI date labels. It is further said to be the Galaxy S25 slime, which is expected to arrive with higher specifications.
Additionally, a popular Ice Universe claimed that the Galaxy S25 Slim exists and has an “Ultra” camera. However, this may cause confusion among users if the full setup will be exactly the same as the Galaxy S25 Ultra or if it is talking about just the primary camera.
It goes with the similar Galaxy Z Fold SE camera setup, so it may bring a 12 MP ultra wide camera and a 10 MP telephoto camera. Meanwhile, for the selfie camera, it may introduce a 12 MP front camera.
