Samsung delivered the August 2024 security update to these Galaxy devices so far

Samsung is working on improving the user’s experience by providing the latest software updates to its Galaxy ecosystem; meanwhile, August is considered the most important month for the Galaxy audience due to the hype created for the One UI 7 beta and One UI 6.1.1 builds, which got delayed for some reasons. 

Samsung August 2024 Security Update Currently Available for These Galaxy Devices

In the meantime, Samsung is thrilled to dispatch the latest August 2024 security update, while here are the devices that have already received the update so far.

Soon after releasing the details of the August 2024 Android security bulletin, the brand sped up the process of offering the August 2024 security update to its Galaxy devices. Considering that, the Samsung Galaxy M55 became the first one to gain this latest security update in India. 

Significantly, the newest August 2024 Android security bulletin comes with plenty of fixes for the security-related vulnerabilities from Google and Samsung, with 34 high-level CVEs, along with one critical and two CVEs that are not applicable for Samsung models. 

In addition to Google security patches, Samsung has also provided 14 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) while also including the Galaxy device’s security along with CVEs related to Knox Services, Galaxy Watches, Telephony System Services, and more.

Yesterday, Samsung released the November 2024 security patch for the Galaxy Tab S10 series devices in Europe, but it was limited to the 5G variants. Now, with the latest development, it is available for the Wi-Fi variants.

Samsung has rolled out the November 2024 patch for the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra devices with the firmware version number X820XXS2AXJ7 and X920XXS2AXJ7, respectively. The latest update has brought new improvements to the auto blocker with security enhancements.

Auto blocker gets improved

Along with this, the update will also bring new enhancements for the auto blocker. As per the changelog, USB devices will not be allowed to connect to this device after the update except when charging.
