Samsung introduced the Circle to Search as a part of the Galaxy AI package. Now the facilities of the feature have expanded, as it lets you identify music playing on the device or nearby.

The Galaxy S24 series was the first to receive the Circle to Search with Google out of the box. Recently, Google has started working on bringing a new feature within Circle to Search to easily identify music that’s playing on the device or even nearby to enhance the user experience. Finally, this new feature started rolling out to a few Galaxy phones.

A post on X shared by a Samsung user revealed that he has received a new music search feature within Circle to Search on the Galaxy S23 and S24 Series. This new functionality has arrived with the specific version number 15.32.37.28 of the Google app.

Noticeably, a few other Galaxy S23 users are running the app with a similar version number but don’t have the new Music Search yet. This suggests that Google has started rolling out this feature gradually and will soon make it available widely.

You can easily use this new feature by navigating a few steps. Once you enable Circle to Search on your phone, a new button with a music note icon will appear. To start the music identification process, tap on it. It works with music being played on the device itself and with music playing near your device. Plus, you can also sing the song or just hum the tune.
