Samsung drops hints about upcoming One UI 6.1.1 update
Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 is coming soon for Galaxy smartphones and tablets. Samsung introduced the One UI 6.1.1 version on the newly launched Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. Now the giant will start rolling out the update soon for eligible Galaxy devices.
The Korean giant is delaying the release of One UI 6.1.1 to the rest of the eligible Galaxy devices.
Currently, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 run Onr UI 6.1.1. Galaxy users are eager for the upcoming software vision.
On the other hand, Samsung is also gearing up to bring Android 15-based One UI 7. However, the schedule of One UI 7 will be decided by the One UI 6.1.1 release. Previously, it was reported that by the end of July, the brand would start rolling out the One UI 6.1.1 update to older Galaxy devices, but the report went wrong.
Now it seems that soon the company will drop One UI 6.1.1 for the Galaxy S24. It is being speculated by a reliable tipster, Tarun Vats, on X, who shared a post suggesting that Samsung has posted interpretation function shorts on YouTube on its official account. It is a feature exclusive to One UI 6.1.1.
The post is directly suggesting that Samsung could soon release the One UI 6.1.1 update to the Galaxy S24. If this report comes true, then following this update, One UI 7’s way will also open to arrive. However, Samsung has officially announced the release date for both upcoming updates.
