Samsung faces competition from its rival TSMC in Europe
Samsung Foundry is facing tough competition as its rival TSMC is building a chip production plant in Germany. This will be the first semiconductor manufacturing facility for the European Taiwanese company.
The report suggested that TSMC held an innovation ceremony for a chipfab in Dresden, Germany. This significant development came after TSMC announced investment in Europe last year. The brand is looking forward to safeguarding its semiconductor supply chain.
If the report is to be believed, TSMC established a joint venture with Infineon, Bosch, and NXP to make a solid entry into Europe. Entitled ESMC, the joint venture by TSMC produces wafers for automobiles and industrial use at its Dresden plant. It’s reported that the TSMC chipmaker will invest 10 billion euros in the project, with the support of an additional 5 billion euros from the German government.

Samsung Health monitor support end from December 23
Samsung has officially notified that it will discontinue the software support for the Samsung Health Monitor from December 23. According to the information, the Samsung health monitor new version 1.4.1 will support Android OS 9.0; support for 10.0 and 11.0 will be discontinued.
However, it doesn’t mean that the older version users will not get the functionality of the app. But it will be limited to ending the software support for the app for the respective Android version.
So Samsung has recommended its users update their phones to the latest version before the deadline to enjoy the services without any interruptions.
