The October 2024 patch is live for locked Galaxy Note 20 devices

Samsung initially introduced the October 2024 security patch to the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra series devices in Europe. Now, the device is starting to get the update in the US. More specifically, the update comes with firmware version numbers N981USQSAHXJ1 and N986USQSAHXJ1, respectively.

According to the official documentation, more than 40 patches are included from Google and Samsung. More specifically, Google has included 30 patches that will improve the security of the devices on the Android OS level. Samsung has also introduced some extra patches to improve the device’s security.
