Samsung is aggressively setting up to debut its next flagship Galaxy S25 series. The Ultra variant of the series is expected to feature a slightly larger display and is different from its predecessor.

Samsung will debut the Galaxy S25 series as the successor to the Galaxy S24 series. It is supposed to make its debut in early 2025. Before the company announces any official specifications and design of the upcoming Galaxy S25 series, leaks and rumors are already blowing in the market.

A new report suggests that the dimensions and measurements of the Galaxy S25 Ultra are larger than those of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The dimensions point at the rounded corners.

The dimensions of the Galaxy S25 Ultra measure 73.0mm wide, whereas on the other side, the current Galaxy S24 Ultra measures 72.3mm. Noticeably, despite the width of the Galaxy S25 Ultra being reduced, the screen’s width appears to have increased by 0.7 mm.

The bezel size of the Galaxy S25 Ultra is reported to be 77.6 mm, whereas the Galaxy S24 Ultra has 79 mm. The measurement is being speculated by a tipster, Ice Universe, on X, who shared a post suggesting the dimensions of the Galaxy S25 Ultra. However, the leaked difference in the flagship’s width appears least possible but could impact the overall fee and ergonomics of the device.

The tipster also mentioned the display size of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which is 6.86 inches, which is wider than its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s 6.79-inch display.

Samsung has yet to reveal the official dimensions of the device. It will be interesting to see whether this report comes true. Apart from this, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is highly anticipated to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4.

It was also reported that this time the company could also change the model name of the Galaxy S25 series. The Galaxy S25 Plus could be renamed the Galaxy S25 Pro, and the Galaxy S25 Ultra could be the Galaxy S25 Note. However, there’s no official announcement regarding this change, and it remains to be seen exactly what new changes the company will bring with the upcoming series.

Additionally, a popular Ice Universe claimed that the Galaxy S25 Slim exists and has an “Ultra” camera. However, this may cause confusion among users if the full setup will be exactly the same as the Galaxy S25 Ultra or if it is talking about just the primary camera.

It goes with the similar Galaxy Z Fold SE camera setup, so it may bring a 12 MP ultra wide camera and a 10 MP telephoto camera. Meanwhile, for the selfie camera, it may introduce a 12 MP front camera.
