There’s always something innovative and adventurous when it comes to Samsung’s smartwatches. The Galaxy smartwatches are intended to offer some key details regarding several health functionalities via Samsung Health Monitor; meanwhile, Samsung is rolling out a new update to the Health Monitor app that significantly introduces the irregular heart rhythm notification feature for the Galaxy Watch 4 audience.

As spotted with the latest Samsung Health Monitor version 1.3.4.004, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic owners will be able to get notified each time there is an irregular heart rhythm, which certainly means that you will get a notification the time when your Galaxy Smartwatch recognizes your irregular heart rhythm.

This feature basically works along with the integration of the ECG function that lies within the Health Monitor app that allows users to receive notifications of their atrial fibrillation (Afib) or sinus rhythm while also calculating the heart rate rhythms.

As the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic are Wear OS-based Galaxy smartwatches, it’s also expected that all the newer smartwatches launched after the Galaxy Watch 4 will probably get the new irregular heart rhythm notification feature soon in future updates.

Moreover, you can easily activate the new irregular heart rhythm notification feature under the ECG tab in the Samsung Health Monitor app when it is available.
