Samsung and Google Integrate Gemini AI on Galaxy Z Devices with One UI 6.1.1
Finally, Samsung hosted its long-awaited Galaxy Unpacked Event 2024 in Paris. which Google announced noteworthy updates coming to Samsung devices.
Samsung introduced its sixth-generation foldable devices, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, new smartwatches, the Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch 7, and its first-ever smart ring, the Galaxy Ring.
Apart from these newly launched devices, Google took the stage to announce a few upcoming updates for Samsung devices, including Circle to Search’s latest capabilities, Wear OS 5, and more. The new update will come to Samsung’s latest devices, including the Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and the newest Galaxy Watches.

Gemini will soon give relevant suggestions on the latest Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy watches based on what’s on the screen. To bring up Gemini, you have to swipe the corner of the screen, or you can also give the voice command ‘Hey Google’.
While watching the videos on YouTube, with this new feature, Gemini will suggest, ‘Ask about this video’. The Galaxy Z Fold 6’s large screen is particularly helpful for multitasking. Currently, the Gemini app on Android is available in 29 languages in over 200 countries. This new update on the Galaxy series will be available soon.

Google announced it has added two new options to the Circle to Search feature: translation capabilities and homework help. These new options will be available on the latest foldable devices later this month. This new homework help feature will help you learn more complex topics, such as symbolic math, and scan barcodes and QR codes on your screen.

Samsung introduced its two new smartwatches, the Galaxy Watch 7 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra, which are the first watches powered by Wear OS 5. These smartwatches have arrived with more upgraded and advanced health monitoring capabilities, including heart rate tracking, sleep monitoring, and a personalized health experience. It also lets you access a wide range of applications on Google Play.

Samsung Health monitor support end from December 23
Samsung has officially notified that it will discontinue the software support for the Samsung Health Monitor from December 23. According to the information, the Samsung health monitor new version 1.4.1 will support Android OS 9.0; support for 10.0 and 11.0 will be discontinued.
However, it doesn’t mean that the older version users will not get the functionality of the app. But it will be limited to ending the software support for the app for the respective Android version.
So Samsung has recommended its users update their phones to the latest version before the deadline to enjoy the services without any interruptions.
Samsung Health monitor features
There are many new features that will provide several new changes for the devices; let’s explore them more. Basically works along with the integration of the ECG function that lies within the Health Monitor app that allows users to receive notifications of their atrial fibrillation (Afib) or sinus rhythm while also calculating the heart rate rhythms.
