Samsung’s Home Up app offers several customizing powers to users to customize their Galaxy device’s home screen. However, users are facing a problem with its folder grid size feature.

A huge range of users are reporting that they are going through an issue with the home screen’s folder grid size feature, due to which the chosen grid size is not being saved.

A user on Samsung’s community forum reported that while using Home Up and changing the grid size for foldable on the home screen to 4×4 and restarting the device, the grid size automatically changed to 3×3.

Regarding this issue, a moderator replied that the company would need system log data from the device to diagnose the issue. If you are also facing this issue, you can help the giant solve it by sharing the system log data with it. You can easily share the system log data by navigating go to Samsung Members >> Support >> Send feedback >> Error Reports.

Once you are done, now choose the error type and frequency, write a description of the issue, attach images or videos you might have of it, tick ‘Send system log data’, and tap ‘Send.’

Apart from all this, this issue is not the case for Galaxy S23 users, since on the Galaxy S23 device, while using Home Up to customize the grid layout of folders on the home screen and then restarting the phone, the device retained the layout. This suggests that the Galaxy S23 device is free from this issue.
