Now, with the latest October SMR document, two older documents are removed from the list: the Galaxy Tab A7 and Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G.

Apart from the retired device, the company has also changed the frequency of updates for the Galaxy A52s 5G. The device is shifted from the monthly update category to the quarterly security patch update.

Some new devices were also added to the October 2024 security list

Samsung has recently launched some new devices, including the S24 FE and Galaxy Tab S10 series. The Galaxy Tab S10 series devices are listed under the quarterly update list. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S24 is kept in the monthly update category.
