Samsung One UI 7 to face some more delay as Google’s Android 15 is still under works

Samsung will hit out of the park with its upcoming One UI iteration; meanwhile, Galaxy fans are curiously waiting for the next One UI 7 build, which will be backed up with Android 15, in order to experience some innovative features.

But the wait for One UI 7 still continues due to several reasons, the most prominent of which is the development phase of Android 15, causing an unnecessary delay in the One UI 7 version.

We have been hearing about Samsung’s One UI 7 version having to suffer a significant delay due to certain security-related issues and some fluctuations during the development of Android 15.

Now, a new Google Pixel 9 series has just arrived in the Android smartphone industry, which has eventually arrived on Android 14, though Google’s next Android 15 is yet to enter its stable channel.

In fact, following Google’s latest Android OS build entering its stable channel, Samsung usually releases the new One UI beta channel for Galaxy devices.

Google has launched the latest Google Pixel 9 series, including the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL, along with the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold. The company follows the custom of releasing the next Pixel phone series with a new Android OS version, but this has changed.

Meanwhile, it’s important to note that this is the first time that Google launched its newest Pixel smartphone series with an older Android OS iteration, the Android 14, out of the box instead of Android 15.

This could be due to the fact that Google is currently working on Android 15’s security and stability to ensure that users get a next-level experience along with a stable and secure software environment.

On that note, Samsung’s next One UI 7 version will be based on Android 15, which is still undergoing work and development, thus causing a significant delay in the One UI 7 release.
