Samsung Quick Share Now Upload Files Up to 10GB

Samsung has almost finished manifesting the July 2024 security update for all of its eligible smartphones and tablets. Now, the brand has shifted its focus to providing relevant updates to its other applications as well. Considering that, the Quick Share app is receiving a new update, including an increased upload size and more. 

Samsung Quick Share update now allows users to upload their files up to 10GB, improvements and more  

Samsung Quick Share app has started receiving the latest update, which carries the 13.6.51.13 version with an update size of 24.67 MB

Meanwhile, this update to the Quick Share app significantly introduces an increased upload size when sharing a QR code, copying a URL, or sharing to contacts, which was 5GB earlier and now it has extended to 10GB. It brings a much improved device identification process that now displays two lines of the name for nearby devices. 

The update further adds the ability to display the entire file size in the incoming pop-up. 

Moreover, Quick Share allows you to quickly share or upload several files, including photos, videos, and documents, with your nearby devices. Whereas, this latest update adds more functionalities to the app, and users can now install the latest version by heading to the Galaxy Store

Samsung Health monitor support end from December 23

Samsung has officially notified that it will discontinue the software support for the Samsung Health Monitor from December 23. According to the information, the Samsung health monitor new version 1.4.1 will support Android OS 9.0; support for 10.0 and 11.0 will be discontinued.

However, it doesn’t mean that the older version users will not get the functionality of the app. But it will be limited to ending the software support for the app for the respective Android version.

So Samsung has recommended its users update their phones to the latest version before the deadline to enjoy the services without any interruptions.

Samsung Health monitor features

There are many new features that will provide several new changes for the devices; let’s explore them more. Basically works along with the integration of the ECG function that lies within the Health Monitor app that allows users to receive notifications of their atrial fibrillation (Afib) or sinus rhythm while also calculating the heart rate rhythms. 

As the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic are Wear OS-based Galaxy smartwatches, it’s also expected that all the newer smartwatches launched after the Galaxy Watch 4 will probably get the new irregular heart rhythm notification feature soon in future updates. 

Moreover, you can easily activate the new irregular heart rhythm notification feature under the ECG tab in the Samsung Health Monitor app. To enjoy all these features, you should keep the app up to date.
