Samsung has officially announced some new features and updates for Samsung Food to celebrate its first anniversary. For starters, this app is an AI-powered food and recipe platform that allows users to try different types of food depending on the ingredients.

Samsung Food gained over six million users after being represented at the IFA last year. It has become an essential tool for meal planning and cooking in the modern home. The platform’s most popular features include recipe functions.
It comes as a dedicated application available for several Samsung devices, including and beyond home appliances. Samsung Food+, the premium subscription service of this app, elevates the experience by integrating a health profile and goals and providing personalized meal plans with recipe recommendations.
What’s innovation coming to Samsung Food?
The latest event prepares to bring an innovative feature, Vision AI technology, to Samsung Food+. It allows users to add items to their food list by simply snapping a photo of their food items with a smartphone.
Meanwhile, the premium subscription service includes other benefits, such as automatically adding purchased ingredients to the Food list when users check out at the store or online and search for recipes based on the contents of the food list.

Samsung Health monitor support end from December 23
Samsung has officially notified that it will discontinue the software support for the Samsung Health Monitor from December 23. According to the information, the Samsung health monitor new version 1.4.1 will support Android OS 9.0; support for 10.0 and 11.0 will be discontinued.
However, it doesn’t mean that the older version users will not get the functionality of the app. But it will be limited to ending the software support for the app for the respective Android version.
So Samsung has recommended its users update their phones to the latest version before the deadline to enjoy the services without any interruptions.
