Samsung is continuously rolling out the October 2024 patch for its Galaxy devices; this time the company is bringing the new update to a large quantity of devices because it has to expand the update to those devices that are eligible to quarterly update. Samsung has rolled out the carrier-locked Galaxy Tab S9+, Galaxy Tab S8+, Galaxy Tab A9+, and Galaxy Tab S9 FE are getting the October 2024 patch in the US. More specifically, the update is arrived on Verizon network. Users who own any of these devices can identify the latest update by the following firmware version numbers:

Galaxy Tab S9+ – X818USQS4BXJ7

Galaxy Tab S8+ – X808USQS7CXJ7

Galaxy Tab S9 FE – X518USQS7BXJ2

Galaxy Tab A9+ – X218USQS3CXJ2

According to the official changelog, the October 2024 update for these Galaxy devices doesn’t bring any significant changes. However, as per the official SMR documentation, the update will fix several internal vulnerabilities that may exploit your device.

Samsung has rolled out the November 2024 patch for the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra devices with the firmware version number X820XXS2AXJ7 and X920XXS2AXJ7, respectively. The latest update has brought new improvements to the auto blocker with security enhancements.

Samsung is rolling out the October 2024 patch to the Galaxy Tab A9+ in Europe, specifically, the Wi-Fi and 5G with firmware version numbers X210XXS4CXJ8 and X216BXXS4CXJ8, respectively. The update comes with an enhancement for security.
